MXSZ Cover Art

Cover Art for Single Releases

VIEW PROJECT

I designed the Cover Art for MXSZ (Maximilan Seiz), for two upcoming single releases.
As part of the theme of "The Five Stages of Grief", these 2 releases represent two of the five stages.

The first release is titled "Please Come Back". This one is intended to represent the stage of Denial.
For the cover art I intended to depict something representing one refusing to let go. With the hand I show the subject reaching out for the stars to try to get back what they have lost.
The five stars represent the five stages that are coming.

The second release is titled "FOOLED BY THE SPARK". This represents the third stage of grief, Depression. The lines represent the linear motion of time, intending to demonstrate
that time continues to move and will not stop. The lines in this one are sharp and thin to represent how the sudden movement pierces the soul. The purple arrow through the broken heart represents the spark piercing the hard so hard to the point that it breaks.

The third release is titled "Move On - cuz i'm the one". This represents the last stage of grief, acceptance. The lines represent the linear motion of time, intending to demonstrate
that time continues to move and will not stop, and that even the person in grief will eventually move on. The core purple line in the middle represents the current stage, and the other four lines
represent the other four stages. In contrast to FOOLED BY THE SPARK, there is relatively little motion in this artwork, as I intended to show stability with moving on, it is a more elegant piece
versus the previous one showing a high-speed piercing motion to illustrate the pain that the subject would be feeling.
